Students Explore Health Careers At Saturday Morning Jumpstart

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The inaugural Saturday Morning Jumpstart event will take place Saturday, Dec. 15 from t 9 a.m. until 1.p.m. in the West Shore Jr./Sr. High School auditorium.

Brevard County students are invited to come out and hear and meet with local leaders within the healthcare industry to learn more about career shadowing and internship opportunities within the Healthcare sector.

In addition to the keynote speaker, Dr. Dave Weldon of MIMA, there will be other healthcare specialist speakers and corporate sponsors to discuss career and education options in greater detail in our vendor area.

Students who attend this event will have access to specific programs for job shadowing which can aid in applying for a limited number of summer internships.

This is a free community event for students and parents who want to begin exploring career options for their children.
