BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – Rather than a silent night, Viera will soon be treated to the “Sounds of Christmas” by the Indialantic Chamber Singers.

The group will appear in concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Viera at 5655 Stadium Parkway.
Long considered Brevard’s premier choral ensemble, the Indialantic Chamber Singers’ will perform sacred and secular choral favorites, with selections ranging from the French Carol, Il Est Né and the Latin In Dulci Jubilo to the holiday standards, White Christmas, Sleigh Ride and We Need a Little Christmas.
The fourth annual “Sounds of Christmas” concert is free to the public, with donations gratefully accepted.
For the first time, the Brevard Children’s Chorus will join the Indialantic Chamber Singers for a portion of the program with a selection of holiday songs.
Recognized as Brevard’s premier choral ensemble and conducted by David Vogeding, the Indialantic Chamber Singers perform free concerts throughout Brevard County and are at home at Eastminster Presbyterian Church in Indialantic.
St. John the Evangelist in Viera is one of several Brevard performing venues for the Indialantic Chamber Singers this holiday season.
Vogeding said he enjoys meeting audience members wherever the group performs.
“It’s always nice coming back to Viera,” said Vogeding. “The audiences are very appreciative and we have a particularly beautiful program that will put listeners in the holiday spirit. And we’re happy to have the Brevard Children’s Chorus with us, too. Their young voices lend a special joy to the season.”
The non-profit Brevard Children’s Chorus is an auditioned group of singers in grades 4-10 performing quality choral music.
