Second Unpaid Day Off For Workers In A Month
BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Visitors to the Titusville City Hall will find the building closed Friday because of the city’s furlough plan.

Earlier this year, the Titusville City Council adopted a furlough plan as part of its Fiscal Year 2012/2013 budget.
As a result, Administrative Offices at City Hall, Titusville Fire & Emergency Services Headquarters, Titusville Police Department Headquarters, the Public Works and Water Resources Administration offices will be closed on Friday.
City personnel serving in shift or operational positions are required to take an unpaid furlough day according to varying schedules determined by their respective department heads.
Emergency Response services and Solid Waste collections schedules will not be affected during the furlough day.
This is the second of two planned furlough days in a month for Titusville city workers.
Two furlough days were originally scheduled during November, but one of those days was pushed back until today.
