Motorcyclist Severely Injured In Accident

LAND O’ LAKES, FLORIDA – A Titusville motorist was involved in a four-vehicle collision in Hillsborough County on Wednesday afternoon that severely injured a motorcyclist.

The Florida Highway Patrol said Lee Jalovecky of Titusville, 25, was driving a 1998 Nissan about 2:15 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Livingston Avenue and Sinclair Hills Road in Land O’ Lakes when the accident happened.

Troopers said Robert Damian of Tampa was riding a 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle when he failed to notice cars stopped at Sinclair Hills Road, skidded and crashed into a 2010 Honda driven by Luther Hutchinson of Lutz, 71.

The collision ejected Damian from the motorcycle and he was struck by Jalovecky.

Damian was not wearing a helmet.

The motorcycle  then crossed into oncoming traffic and hit a 1996 Toyota Corolla driven by Sabrina S. Belgrave of Land O’ Lakes, 21.

Damian sustained life-threatening injuries and is being treated at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hillsborough County.

None of the other drivers, including Jalovecky, was hurt in the accident.
