Sheriff’s Agents Arrest Muhleman On Child Porn Charges

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – An investigation conducted by the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office has culminated with the arrest of David Michael Muhleman at his home located at 2815 Caribbean Isle Blvd. in Melbourne for possession of child pornography.

According to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, Muhleman, 43, was charged with 15 counts of Possession of Child Pornography and one count of Distribution of Child Pornography.

The suspect is being held at the Brevard County Jail on $560,000 bond.

The Sheriff’s Office SORT Unit received information that Muhleman was involved in the distribution of child pornography, and the investigation into this information led to the issuance of a search warrant for Muhleman’s residence.

Upon serving the search warrant, agents recovered both images and movie files of child pornography.

According to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, it is believed that Muhleman has been employed in Brevard County where he has had access to children through his employment.
