According to Matthews, the suspect appears to be the same suspect as in the previous robberies in Cocoa that are being investigated Cocoa Police Department and the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office. Those robberies include a robbery of a Motel 6 and Boost Mobile Store on West King St (SR 520) and a 7-Eleven convenience store on Dixon Blvd.

According to Matthews, the suspect entered the store and seemed to wait until many of the customers left before he approached the counter, brandished a silver and black handgun and demanded money from the clerk, then calmly walked out of the store heading south from the front door.

According to Matthews, it is unknown at this time what type of vehicle, if any, the suspect is using. A K-9 track was conducted with negative results.

If you can provide police with information about this suspect, please call the Cocoa Police Department or Crimeline at 1-800-423-tips.
