Florida Tech Soccer Set For First Night Game At Stottler Field

match set for saturday at 7:30 p.m.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA — The Florida Tech men’s and women’s soccer programs will host the first night matches at Rick Stottler Field Saturday. The women will play Rollins at 5:00 P.M. ET followed by the men taking on No. 3 Rollins at 7:30 p.m. ET. Saturday’s matches represent the conference opening games for both teams as well.

The women currently sit at 4-1 overall and, are looking for a season sweep over the Tars. The Panthers defeated Rollins 3-2 in a non-conference match last week in Winter Park. The women are currently on a three match win streak after defeating Barry and Nova Southeastern over the past week as well.

The men are coming off a scoreless draw against Nova Southeastern, and currently have a 2-2-1 record this season. The Panthers were defeated by No. 3 Rollins 4-0 in Winter Park last week in a non-conference match, and are looking to earn a split in the season series.

TICKETS ARE $7 FOR GENERAL ADMISSION

For this Saturday’s matches against Rollins ticket prices are $7 for general admission, $5 for seniors ages 65 and above, youth ages 5-16 and non-Florida Tech students with school ID. FIT students with ID, FIT faculty and staff with ID plus one guest, military in uniform and children ages four and under are free. One ticket grants admission into both games.
