Panthers, Wolves will meet on the gridiron for a Halloween GSC-TV LIVE contest tonight at 7:30 p.m.
CARROLLTON, GEORGIA – Florida Tech (3-5, 1-3 GSC) will appear on television for the second time in its inaugural season tonight at 7:30 p.m. against West Georgia (4-4, 1-3 GSC) at University Field in Carrollton, Georgia.
The game is part of the Gulf South Conference’s TV LIVE Game of the Week package. It can be seen live on Comcast/Charter Sports Southeast, CoxSports, Mediacom and online at ESPN3.

GAME NOTES & FACTS
Both teams will play on short rest after playing last Saturday. The Panthers won their first-ever Homecoming Game 37-3 over Warner University at Pirate Stadium.
Quarterback Sean Ashley played his first game since West Alabama and scored three rushing touchdowns. Jarvis Giles also returned to action, totaling 56 yards on 12 carries. FIT’s defense held Warner to negative-11 yards rushing and just 130 yards of total offense.
West Georgia was dealt a 45-14 setback at the hands of then No. 21 West Alabama in Livingston, Ala. last Saturday night. The Wolves committed four turnovers and surrendered 510 yards, including 335 on the ground.
Quarterback Dallas Dickey, son of head coach Daryl Dickey, was one of six runners to carry the ball at least six times. He finished with a team-high 69 yards on 12 carries and was 6-for-11 with two touchdowns and two interceptions for 122 yards. Bobby Burum was targeted five times by Dickey for 80 yards and one touchdown.
THE CAPTAINS
Florida Tech will be represented by its three season-long captains: Justin Arcune, Collin O’Neal and Ramsey Sellers. Keith Lovett II was named FIT’s fourth captain Wednesday night.
PLAYING ON THE BIG SCREEN
FIT last played on TV Sept. 19 against its first-ever GSC foe in West Alabama and fell 45-3. The game was part of CBS Sports Network’s Division II Thursday night football schedule. On Thursday, it will look to avenge the defeat by winning its first GSC road game on regional television.
