Barnes, Odom, Shiffrin To Be Inducted In FHSAA Hall

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Three Space Coast sports icons will be inducted in the Florida High School Athletic Hall of Fame in Gainesville, Florida on April 27.
Bobby Barnes, Gerald Odom and Gary Shiffrin will join 156 outstanding individuals that have been enshrined in the Florida High School Athletic Hall of Fame since 1991.
The Florida High School Athletic Hall of Fame was founded to recognize and preserve the heritage of high school athletics in Florida, to keep alive their tradition and spirit, and to honor each year those persons who through distinguished achievement have excelled in one or more high school athletic programs sponsored by the Association and its member schools.
They include coaches, administrators, contest officials and other contributors, such as sports writers, who have raised the level of awareness of high school athletics through their dedication, efforts and achievements.
Barnes and Odom are members of the Space Coast Sports Hall of Fame, and Shiffrin’s name has been placed in nomination for the Class of 2015 of the Space Coast Sports Hall of Fame.
