The Area’s Business Pros Meet, Engage With Brevard County’s Top Media Reps
BREVARD COUNTY • PORT CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – The Space Coast Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) presented its annual Media Summit last week at the Canaveral Port Authority Maritime Center.

The FPRA is dedicated to developing public relations practitioners who, through ethical and standardized practices, enhance the public relations profession in Florida.
The FPRA annual Media Summit provided an opportunity for the public to meet and engage with Brevard County’s top media representatives.
The event featured presentations by multiple media representatives and encourages attendees to engage, ask questions, and learn about local media outlets.
EASTERN FLORIDA, VNA RECEIVE IMAGE AWARDS
Four Image Awards were presented at the Summit: Eastern Florida State College received two Image awards for their 2013 branding campaign; and VNA received two Image awards for their 2013 flu campaign.
For more than 25 years, the Space Coast Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association has been promoting and developing the public relations profession.
Attendees attended seminars to gain new insight on public relations strategies. They also networked with journalists and other public relations professionals.
The featured guest speakers were Lori C. Booker, CEO of CBR Strategic Communications; Josh Wilson, Senior PR Manager at Nemours; and Zenaida Gonzalez Kotala, Senior Communications Coordinator at UCF News.
