BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — The Space Coast Symphony Orchestra will present favorites from the Great White Way with “The Best of Broadway” at 7 p.m. on Saturday Aug. 9 at The Scott Center at Holy Trinity and at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 10 at the Vero Beach Performing Arts Center.

The audience will journey from the glamour of the silver screen to the excitement of Broadway’s greatest hits in a program featuring classics from South Pacific, Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Fiddler on the Roof, My Fair Lady, The Sound of Music, and more. Featured selections will be accompanied by on-screen film footage, and returning soloist Beth Green will dazzle as she sings “I Dreamed a Dream” from Les Miserables.

“Just about everyone can name their favorite Broadway show,” said Aaron Collins.

“Many of them were made into movie musicals and earned a place in our collective hearts. We’ll be showing film clips from some of the best of those and Beth Green will be stunning as always. People who come expecting to hear their favorites won’t be disappointed.”
