BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – The Merritt Island Breakfast Rotary Club will host their Party With A Purpose Halloweenfest fundraiser on Friday, Oct. 24 at Florida Beer Company, located at 200 Imperial Boulevard in Cape Canaveral.  (MAP ABOVE)

Festivities, which will run 7-11 p.m., will include music, dancing, beer and food catered by Fishlips.

Other activities will include a costume contest, and 50/50 and silent auctions.

Cash prizes for the best costumes will be awarded $100 for first place, $50 for second place and $25 for third place.

Advance tickets are $25 and $30 at the door.

Merritt Island Breakfast Rotary Club projects include awarding the Edgewater Jr/Sr High School Student of the Month; donating annually to Brevard County School Foundation to support $3,000 in teacher grants to Merritt Island Schools and $1,000 annual scholarship to graduating Merritt Island senior; distribution of dictionaries to all third graders on Merritt Island; Josh the Otter Water Safety and Literacy Project for all pre-school and K on Merritt Island; Keep Brevard Beautiful adoption of Crockett Boulevard; and Clean Water Project for villages in Belize.
