Parades Set For Merritt Island, Cocoa, Rockledge

MERRITT ISLAND HOLIDAY PARADE DEC. 6
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — December marks the the start of Christmas celebrations across Brevard County.
Below are two popular parades that are free to the public.
MERRITT ISLAND HOLIDAY PARADE: Sat., December 6 at 10:00 am. on State Rd. 3 at Merritt Island High School. Bring the whole family out to enjoy the parade!
Local businesses, organizations and schools have entered the parade and will provide the floats for your viewing pleasure.
This year’s theme is “Rockin’ thru the Holidays.”
The parade route will take place on Courtenay Parkway starting at Merritt Island High School and will end at Edgewood Jr./Sr. High School.
COCOA / ROCKLEDGE HOLIDAY PARADE: Saturday, Dec. 13 at 6:00 pm. on Florida Ave. This year’s parade will take place at night. Local businesses, organizations and schools will participate in making this a memorable parade.
The theme for the parade is ‘Rockin’ thru the Holidays’.
The parade will start at Rockledge High School and head north on Florida Ave where it will continue North on Brevard Ave through Historic Cocoa Village and end at Lee Wenner Park.
