Public Meeting For Clearlake Road Project Set March 31

study will evaluate need to widen Clearlake Road
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is conducting a public kick-off meeting for the Clearlake Road (State Road 501) Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study.
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the need to widen Clearlake Road from a two-lane roadway to a four-lane roadway; and, also evaluate the need to improve bicycle and pedestrian safety throughout the corridor.
The need for these evaluations is based on a projected increase in traffic volume.
The study limits extend from south of Michigan Avenue to west of Industry Road, a distance of approximately 1.35 miles.
It is an open house from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., with no formal presentation.
Participants may review project information and discuss the project with FDOT staff at any time during the meeting.
Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability or family status.
