Suspect, Victims Identified In Cocoa Beach Stabbing

Victims Identified As John Frass, 61, and His Daughter Katherine Frass of Cocoa Beach

Justin Noelker, 23, of Richmond, Indiana, was taken into custody by police for the stabbing incident on Monday night, according to Major Jay Harmon of the Cocoa Beach police.

Two people were stabbed in Cocoa Beach about 11 p.m. Monday night at the Windward West Condominiums, located at North Banana River Boulevard and South Shepard Drive, according to police.

Noelker has been charged with two counts of Aggravated Battery and one count of Resisting Officer w/o Violence.

He is currently in custody at the Brevard County Jail.

The victims have been identified as John Frass, 61, of Cocoa Beach and his daughter, Katherine Frass, 24, of Cocoa Beach.

No update on their condition at this time.

TWO PEOPLE STABBED IN COCOA BEACH

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – Two people were stabbed in Cocoa Beach about 11:12 p.m. Monday night at the Windward West Condominiums, located at North Banana River Boulevard and South Shepard Drive, according to police.

One of the victims was airlifted to the local trauma center and the other was take to nearby Cape Canaveral Hospital.

The victims, a man and a woman, have not yet been identified.

The male victim is in critical condition.

According to Major Jay Harmon of the Cocoa Beach police, a suspect was located and apprehended based on the detailed description given by the female victim, and the assistance of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.

The suspect has not been positively identified, but is in custody on unrelated charges pending the outcome of this investigation.
