The Cancer Care Foundation Needs Your Help, Become A Corporate Sponsor
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Cancer Care Centers of Brevard Foundation will once again presented their signature annual Caring Hearts Benefit at the riverfront home of Ed and Jeanne Andre on Saturday, May 2.
Now in its 13th year, the first two years the event was held at different venues, but for the last 11 years the André family have graciously offered their stunning home as the host venue for the event.
The Caring Hearts’ goal is to assist local cancer patients undergoing treatments by paying for their basic living expenses such as rent, mortgage, utilities and pain and cancer related medications.
“I was diagnosed with cancer in March 2003,” said Mary Paul Hendry.
“I started with Dr. Craig Badolato, and thanks to God and Dr. Badolato, I am still here. I thank the Cancer Care Foundation for their love and support.”
BECOME A PROUD SPONSOR
The Cancer Care Foundation needs your help to ensure the success of this year’s Caring Hearts event.
“Become a corporate sponsor and we will put your logo on our website and include it in our marketing efforts,” said Marta Fiol of the Cancer Care Centers of Brevard Foundation.
“Your support will help us help local cancer patients and their families in their time of need. All proceeds go to benefit cancer patients and their families in Brevard and Indian River Counties.”
FINE ART, GREAT FOOD, KENTUCKY DERBY
This year, the agenda includes a special viewing of the Kentucky Derby at 6:24 p.m. and include fine wines, a lavish multi-station buffet, live music, a live auction and silent auction.
Auction items, as always, will include great international trips, compelling sports memorabilia, unique works of art from local artists and exciting products and services from area business.
“The benefit contributes to the ongoing success of the Cancer Care Foundation in assisting under and uninsured cancer patients in Brevard and Indian River counties,” said Tom Drago, Caring Hearts Committee Chairperson and foundation board of directors member.
“We’re proud of the fact that 98 percent of the money we take in at this and other numerous fundraising events goes directly to assist cancer patients to meet financial commitments including utility bills, rent, and transportation cost.”
