Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Crash Involving Two Vehicles In Titusville

Zachary Joseph Penna, 23, of West Palm Beach, has been identified as the suspect in the Armed Robbery on Friday at 9:45 a.m. at Space Coast Regional Airport, according to Amy Matthews, Titusville Police Department Public Affairs Coordinator.
Titusville police responded to a traffic crash with injuries at 9:48 a.m. on Tuesday at the intersection of Washington Avenue (U.S. 1) and Coquina Avenue involving a motorcycle and two vehicles.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA  — Titusville police responded to a traffic crash with injuries at 9:48 a.m. on Tuesday at the intersection of Washington Avenue (U.S. 1) and Coquina Avenue involving a motorcycle and two vehicles.

A preliminary investigation revealed that a vehicle entered South Washington Avenue from Coquina Avenue and struck a northbound motorcycle, the motorcyclist was thrown into the path of another northbound vehicle.

The motorcyclist was airlifted to a local hospital with serious injuries. Northbound Washington Avenue was closed briefly from Jepson Street to Knox McRae Drive but has since reopened.

The accident is being investigated by the Titusville Police Department.
