BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL FLORIDA – One of Central Florida’s favorite bands, The Lights Out Project, will perform in concert at the Port Canaveral Seafood and Music Festival on Sunday, February 28.

Hailed as an innovative leader in the Space Coast music community, The Lights Out Project is an all-original, Island Fusion band, mixing urban rhythms and island beats with conscious lyrics and eclectic melodies, infused with dancehall vibes aimed at creating positive energy through music.

The Lights Out Project began performing in 2007 on the barrier islands off Florida and shortly after relocated to the north shore of Oahu. The band returned to Florida in 2010 and has been on tour between Florida, Hawaii and Colombia ever since.

This eclectic band of friends is made up of talented musicians, deep and diverse in musical gifts. The band’s impresario and multi-talented leader is Jason Noon with his lead vocals, Uke and guitars.

“The Lights Out Project is more of a musical collective than a band,” said Noon.

“There are over 40 musicians that we play with on a regular basis over the past five years. I have a team in Hawaii and also a team here in Florida.”
