Palm Bay Police Department Holds Award Banquet To Honor Dedication

Mark Trammell honored as officer of the year

Officer of the Year, Mark Trammell. Officer of the Year recipients demonstrate and continually promote the Department’s goals and mission. Areas of consideration include exceptional work ethic, expertise and integrity, superior overall performance in areas of responsibility, initiative to take on commitments above and beyond the call of duty, exceptional ability to interact with peers and the public in crisis situations as well as day to day activities, and exceptional contributions to the Department and community.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – At the annual Palm Bay Police Awards Banquet officers were recognized for their hard work and dedication to serving their community.

A number of officers also received recognition for their bravery in circumstances that required them to risk their lives to protect civilians and fellow officers.

The department also recognized the Civilian of the Year and the Officer of the Year.
