Tommy McGee drove in the winning run with a RBI single in the seventh. Brandon Ferrero picked up the win in relief for Merritt Island’s 5-4 seven inning victory.

BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA-Major baseball continued at Holder Park Wednesday night when Mims Little League (visitors) met Merritt Island Little League for a game that took an extra inning to finish.

For Mims, Evan Pavick hit a two-run homer while Ethan Roberts had a double, two singles and a run batted in.  Holden Quinn and Matthew Hutchins each added singles for Mims.

Merritt Island’s Meric Collins had three singles while Rylan Diaz and Parker Dawson each had RBIs.
