Guests can enjoy the festivities happening in Brazil from Cocoa Beach with beach, TV viewings and Brazilian-inspired menu items throughout August
BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – Fans cheering for Team USA at this year’s summer games can feel like they’re in the heart of the action at the Westgate Cocoa Beach Pier, located at 401 Meade Avenue.
The Pier will offer visitors the chance to experience games as if they are in Brazil, without having to fly to Rio, with a beach atmosphere, dozens of big screen TVs showing all the action and special Brazilian-inspired menu items offered throughout the month of August.
Specialty menu offerings will include shrimp stew, flat iron chimichurri steak, Brazilian-baked salmon and Caipirinhas, Brazil’s national cocktail made with a sugarcane hard liquor and lime.
In addition to watching sports, guests can work on their own games with beach volleyball courts, surf lessons and board rentals all available right on the beach. The 2016 summer games run from August 5-21 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
