Travis Crapps Identified as victim

Florida Highway Patrol Troopers are in route to a fatal crash that occurred at about 10 p.m. Wednesday night on U.S. 1, near Fay Boulevard in Port St. John.
Travis Crapps, 18, of Cocoa, was killed early Friday at 4:45 a.m. after being struck by three vehicles at Citrus Boulevard and Bahia Street.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Travis Crapps, 18, of Cocoa, was killed early Friday at 4:45 a.m. after being struck by three vehicles at Citrus Boulevard and Bahia Street.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, for an unknown reason Crapps was lying in the eastbound lanes of Citrus Boulevard.

The roadway was dark and the drivers of the vehicles, which were traveling eastbound on Citrus Boulevard, were unable to see Crapps lying in the road, according to FHP.

This crash remains under investigation.
