BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville Police have closed the investigation into the possible abduction of a 12-15 year-old girl on May 15 in the area of Barna Ave. and Kings Ct.

The investigation drew national attention among various news stations and featured an Amber Alert being sent out across the state of Florida.

Despite the high publicity, investigators say there have been no significant evidence to continue the investigation.

A few days after police alerted by the possible abduction in May, authorities in Brevard were contacted by the Miami investigators about the possible abduction to a missing girl who’s sketch image looked similar to a missing girl in Miami. However, the possible link between to the two cases fell through when the teen girl in Miami was located safely later on.

“The Titusville Police Department wishes to thank the community for their support with this investigation,” said a Titusville Police spokesperson.
