SPACE COAST DAILY TV: Candidates talk about their platforms during the Republican Party of Brevard’s Council of Clubs Family Picnic and Straw Poll, which was held Sunday at the Melbourne Auditorium.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Republican Party of Brevard’s Council of Clubs Family Picnic and Straw Poll was held Sunday at the Melbourne Auditorium and featured a Meet-and-Greet format for state and local Republican candidates and elected officials. 

“This was a great opportunity for Brevard voters to meet and greet elected officials and candidates, who all had the opportunity to speak,” said Brevard County Republican Executive Committee Chairman Rick Lacey.

The Supervisor of Elections was on hand to conduct a straw poll and registered voters for the upcoming election.

Entertainment was provided by DJ Dave Parker and the event included a Bar-B-Q lunch, raffles and prizes.
