Melbourne Police Investigating ‘Suspicious’ Death Inside Camper Trailer At Wickham Park Campground

Melbourne Police are conducting a death investigation after a person was found dead Saturday afternoon inside a camper trailer at the Wickham Park campground.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne Police are conducting a death investigation after a person was found dead Saturday afternoon inside a camper trailer at the Wickham Park campground.

The identity of the person found is not known yet.

Police say park rangers called for a well-being check for the occupants of the trailer on Saturday after the camper was supposed to move out on Friday.

Investigators are calling the person’s death ‘suspicious.’

Crime Scene Investigators are currently processing the trailer, along with the Medical Examiner’s Office.
