TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA – It was my honor to be invited by Governor Ron DeSantis and Florida’s First Lady Casey DeSantis to sit in the Gallery during the “State of the State Address” that was delivered in the Florida House Chamber on Tuesday.

During the address, Gov. Desantis reinforced his commitment to protecting our citizens, our schools, our natural resources and our economy by ensuring that we take swift and righteous action as elected leaders.

I am extremely proud of our Governor for the amazing pace he is setting as he focuses on protecting our citizens and partners with Law Enforcement to continue to lower Florida’s Crime Rate.

It was an honor to sit in the Gallery as an invited guest of the Governor and to also work closely with Governor DeSantis and our First Lady on issues such as school security and lowering our Crime Rate.

– Sheriff Wayne Ivey
