BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – The Titusville Police Department held their annual Awards Ceremony on March 1 at the Valiant Air Command Warbird Museum to recognize exceptional performance throughout the past year.
According to the Titusville Police Department, award winners were selected by a diverse committee of department members that reviewed numerous nominations submitted by their peers.
“Our community can be very proud of how committed their police department members are every day,” said Chief of police John Lau.
“This annual event is a great way to recognize our team members for their outstanding work.”

• Officer of the Year, Officer Austin Quinn.

• Detective of the Year, Detective Austin Reedy.
• Supervisor of the Year, 911 PST Manager Greg Morrison.
• Dispatcher of the Year, 911 PST Shayna Price.
• Civilian Employee of the Year, Christina Schmidt.
• Jack H. Schnell Traffic Safety Officer of the Year, Officer Jason Hanson.
• Outstanding Rookie of the Year, Officer Donald Lucas.
• School Crossing Guard of the Year, Robert LaBrie.
• Volunteer of the Year, Lorraine Merchant.
• Community Watch Volunteer of the Year, Ron Hayward.
