Mike Davis Wins ‘Brevard’s Best Chocolate Fix 2019’ at 15th Annual Chocolate Festival

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Mike Davis of Promise in Brevard took first place for “Brevard’s Best Chocolate Fix 2019” on Sunday, March 3, at the Zonta Club of Melbourne’s 15th Annual Chocolate Festival.

Davis made Key Lime Truffles Dipped in Belgian White Chocolate.

Second place was Yellow Dog Café for Black & White Whoopie Pies, and third was DA Cupcake Boutique for Chocolate Cake with Raspberry Compote and Chocolate Mousse.

A sold-out crowd cast ballots at Melbourne Auditorium with the assistance of the Brevard Supervisor of Elections Office.

Other competitors were Bayside High School Culinary Arts, Continental Flambe, Jacqueline’s Bakery & Café, Keiser University Center for Culinary Arts and Southern Caramel.

Proceeds benefit Zonta Club of Melbourne’s efforts to end violence against women, including human trafficking, and scholarships for women.
