This scholarship recognizes young women, ages 16-19, for demonstrating leadership skills

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Zonta Club of Melbourne is accepting applications for the Young Women in Public Affairs Scholarship.

This scholarship recognizes young women, ages 16-19, for demonstrating leadership skills and a commitment to public service and civic causes and is available to any female Brevard County high school senior.

The recipient of the Zonta Club of Melbourne’s award is eligible for an additional award at the District and International levels of Zonta, International.

Deadline for application is April 1.

Established in 1990, Zonta International has awarded 930 scholarships totaling $1,012,750.00 to 788 women representing 58 countries.

In addition, the Zonta Club of Melbourne has awarded 29 totaling approximately $35,000.00
