BCSO JOSH Deputy Ellison MAKES Two Arrests

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA– In this edition of “Riding Shotgun,” Brevard Sheriff Wayne Ivey and Deputy Josh Ellison patrol the area that covers the North Precinct of Brevard County. 

In this episode, Sheriff Ivey and Deputy Ellison respond to two calls, both resulting in arrests.

The first stop involves a call for a response from a BCSO Investigative Agent regarding a female subject who has active warrants.

The female subject was wanted for two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Marijuana, less than 20 grams.

Her bond was $6,000.

The female subject was confronted outside of her home and placed under arrest and transported to the Brevard County Jail for intake.

The next call was initiated when Deputy Ellison observed a vehicle without properly working tag lights.

The driver failed to produce a drivers license and subsequently, he and the passenger were asked to step out of the car.

Upon searching the vehicle, Deputy Ellison found a debit/credit card that did not belong to either subject.

After lying several times about the card, the suspect then confessed he had broken into a relatives car to steal the card earlier in the day.

The suspect was arrested and charged with Vehicle Burglary, Theft, Fraudulent use of a Credit Card and was then transported to the Juvenile Detention Center.
