BREVARD COUNTY • MIMS, FLORIDA – Ever After Farms, one of Central Florida’s favorite U-Pick Blueberry Farms, is now open to pick your own blueberries for the 2019 season.
Located in the lovely farming community of Mims, it is estimated to produce more than 100,000 pounds of blueberries this year and visitors get to pick berries at the peak of freshness right off the bush.
Ever After Farms U-Pick Blueberry Farm caters to families, providing complimentary hay wagon rides around the property and the opportunity to bask in the serenity of an Old Florida farm.
Even more exciting is the newest addition to the farm, a petting zoo, with mini goats, silkie chickens, bunnies, a mini pig, mini donkey and more.
“We have worked hard this year to add some exciting family-friendly features to our farm like our petting zoo, picnic tables, and fun photo-op cutouts,” said Farm Manager Jenny Cahoon.
“We truly want our visitors to have an extraordinary farm experience that will create memories and traditions to last a lifetime.”

Ever After Farms is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
The season will most likely extend through the end of May, with the best picking expected in April, since that is when blueberry production peaks with rows and rows of bushes full of big, beautiful berries.
“Across the state, we had exceptional weather for all crops, but especially blueberries,” said Cahoon.
“A cold December gave us enough cool evenings, followed by a warm January and February encouraged optimal pollination and allowed our bushes to produce phenomenal amounts and quality of berries.”
Ever After Farms will be updating their Facebook page daily with a U-Pick Blueberry Report so you can check daily picking conditions before you plan your trip.
