EVENT SPOTLIGHT: Brevard Zoo Announces Upcoming Sensory-Friendly Events

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Sculpture Safari—Brevard Zoo’s new art installation featuring 16 life-size animals crafted from reclaimed metals—continues to enchant guests nearly two months into its run.
On Saturday, May 4, individuals with unique sensory processing needs and their families are invited to experience this exhibit without the crowds.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to create their own sculptures to take home.
The event begins at 8:30 a.m., one hour before the Zoo opens to the public and concludes at 10 a.m. It is free to Zoo members and $17.95 per person for nonmembers.
Registration is required for all attendees and includes a gift bag.
The Zoo is also hosting sensory-friendly versions of popular events Arctic Blast Tuesdays on Tuesday, July 16 and Boo at the Zoo on Saturday, October 5.
