Florida Tech’s Baseball Standout Ryan Allain Signs with Tampa Bay Rays

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Former Florida Tech baseball standout Ryan Allain has signed with a contract with the Tampa Bay Rays, according to Florida Tech baseball.

According to the school, Allain tallied 13 saves during the 2019 season for the Panthers, posting a 3.91 earned run average in 21 appearances.

“Very excited for Ryan and this opportunity in professional baseball,” said Florida Tech head coach Greg Berkemeier in a release. “Ryan has worked extremely hard and his improved command this year led to his and our overall team success.”

Allain will now continue his career in West Virginia at advanced rookie ball.
