BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Florida Tech men’s soccer defender Stian Hagboe Olsen has been named the Sunshine State Conference Defensive Player of the Week.

This is the first time a Panther has won this distinction since former keeper Christian Moerch back on Oct. 31, 2016.

Hagboe Olsen led the charge for the No. 2 defense in the nation as the Panthers limited Saint Leo to only four shots and one shot on goal.

Stian and the rest of the Crimson and Gray will be back in action Wednesday, Oct. 23, when they head to Winter Park, Florida, to face Rollins.

This match is set to begin at 7 p.m. ET.
