Cocoa Police Searching For Suspect In Deadly Shooting That Left One Dead, Two Injured

An early-morning shooting Saturday in Cocoa left one man dead and two others injured, according to the Cocoa Police Department.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA (WFTV) – An early-morning shooting Saturday in Cocoa left one man dead and two others injured, according to the Cocoa Police Department.

Officers said they responded to a shooting at about 3 a.m. in the 100 block of Prospect Street near Lynell Lane, where they found two men and a woman with gunshot wounds.

A 21-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman were hospitalized and are in stable condition, officers said.

Terravion Lewis, 19, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

“It’s bad. It’s bad he didn’t get a chance to live his life. He didn’t get a chance, you know, gone so early. I feel bad, you know. I got a son about his age, you know, and it goes so fast, it makes me want to cry,” neighbor Willie Welch said.
