BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Health First welcomed its first baby of a brand-new decade at 1:33 p.m. on January 1 at Health First’s Holmes Regional Medical Center.

Jianna Colimon weighed in at 6 pounds, 9 ounces, and measured 19 inches long.

Jianna’s mom, Alishia, was shocked to learn she had the first baby of 2020—since it was so late in the day.

Baby Jianna joins siblings Juliana, 7, and Jeremiah, age 3.

Grandma Vanessa said she isn’t surprised her newest grandchild made her grand entrance on New Year’s Day.

“She is a star and this was her way of saying, ‘Look at me now.’ ”

Mom and baby are doing great and are looking forward to some rest when they get home.
