Melbourne Regional Chamber To Install 2020 Board, Present Impact Awards January 31

Viera Company's Todd Pokrywa to be installed as Melbourne Regional Chamber Board chairman

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Melbourne Regional Chamber will host its annual Board Installation and Impact Awards on January 31, 2020, beginning at 5:30 p.m., at the Hilton Melbourne, presented by Florida Prep.

This festive event, “Light the Lamp,” will install Todd Pokrywa, President of The Viera Company, as the new chair to the Melbourne Regional Chamber Board, induct the 2020 Board of Directors and recognize businesses and individuals for their contributions to the local economy and the community.
The Light the Lamp-themed event welcomes all and encourages attendees to break out your best winter gear or hockey jersey and sporty attire.
“The Chamber is celebrating our 95th year as a community leader in Brevard,” said Pokrywa.
“We have inspiring new leadership in place at the chamber; together, we will champion and connect business owners, leaders in the public and private sectors, and all our valued members in pursuing goals that have the greatest impact for the Space Coast region.”

The organization will be presenting the William R. “Bill” Ellis Legacy Award. This award recognizes an individual who, through dedication to the Melbourne Regional Chamber and the broader community, has made a significant impact on the quality of life and business climate in Brevard County.
“Light the Lamp is about recognizing the incredible contributions of local business owners and board members,” siad Michael Ayers, Melbourne Regional Chamber President and CEO.
“Our community benefits enormously from the award recipients and it is an honor to recognize them.”
