discussion tackles 'The Big Questions'

BREVARD COUNTY • SUNTREE, FLORIDA – Pastor Dave Jahn of Advent Lutheran Church will lead a no-holds-barred discussion of the gnarly issues of faith every Wednesday evening from March 4 through April 1 at 7:30 p.m. at Fiesta Azteca Mexican restaurant, 6765 N Wickham Road in Suntree.
Attendance is free, but restaurant patronage is suggested.
Clergy from the same Suntree church that has offered blessings for motorcyclists and administered Ash Wednesday ashes via drive-through, are now tackling The Big Questions with the input of the community.
The Lutheran minister has been an open-minded student of the mysterious and sacred, scientific and secular, for over 50 years and is the author of a yet to be published book, “Faith on the Edge of the Universe.”
Reverend Jahn wants to engage with believers, non-believers and seekers of all stripes, during the casual Wednesday events.
“Compared to all that there is to know, even the most brilliant among us know nothing, so we need to begin every discussion with humility and openness,” said Pastor Jahn.
“If this sounds like your cup of tea, or glass of wine, or beer, or whatever — I hope to see you there.”
Advent Lutheran Church is one congregation in two Brevard locations, offering several distinctly different spirit-filled worship experiences at 7550 North Wickham Road in Suntree and 1805 Oak Street in Melbourne Beach.
