SPACE COAST DAILY TV WEATHER UPDATE: The National Weather Service in Melbourne forecast for Brevard weather on Saturday calls for showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 4 p.m., then a slight chance of showers and a high near 70.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The National Weather Service in Melbourne forecast for Brevard weather on Saturday calls for showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 4 p.m., then a slight chance of showers and a high near 70.

The forecast also calls for South winds at 5 to 10 mph, becoming west northwest in the afternoon and the chance of precipitation is 80%.

New rainfall amounts between a half and three-quarters of an inch are possible.

Saturday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers before 1 a.m. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 49. West northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 66. West northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Sunday Night: Clear, with a low around 46. West northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 70. Calm wind becoming southeast around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 55. Southeast wind around 5 mph.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 75. South wind around 5 mph.

Tuesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 64. South southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

Wednesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 78. South southeast wind around 10 mph.

Wednesday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 69. South wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Thursday: A 30 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 81. Windy, with a south wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.

Thursday Night: A 50 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 62. South southwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Friday: Showers likely. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 71. West southwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
