BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA — For the past two decades, the Cape Canaveral Student Art Show has been a springtime cultural staple for students throughout Brevard County.
In the last few years, it has expanded exponentially and now features a mix of public, private, magnet, and charter institutions, as well as art created by students, enrolled in home school programs.
Starting Friday, May 1, the public can experience and share the artwork of the Cape Canaveral Virtual Student Art Show in four 3-D Exhibit galleries, via these links:
2020 Student Art Show — 3-D Galleries
The Cape Canaveral Student Art Show is open to all Brevard area students in grades K -12 including those attending charter, magnet or private institutions, as well as those in home school programs.
These galleries will remain open until May 30, 2020 — and for the first time, our students will be able to share their art with friends and family around the world that were previously unable to visit the show in person.
The decision to go virtual also presented show organizers with a unique opportunity. With its worldwide accessibility, this year’s show has enlisted a handful of guest judges who are professional artists, working in an assortment of fields around the world.
This will not only serve as encouragement for our students considering careers in the arts but reinforce the global nature of the challenges being faced right now by communities around the world.
