Brevard County Fire Rescue Promotes Six Firemen to Lieutenant, One to Communications Supervisor

In addition to the promotions, BCFR Recruit Class 2020-01 was sworn

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Friday was a great day at Brevard County Fire Rescue as Chief Mark Schollmeyer promoted 6 to the rank of Lieutenant and 1 to Communications Supervisor.
Although the ceremonies were short, it did not take away from the significance of their accomplishments.
Thanks to COVID, we took a few precautions to ensure everyone’s safety today.
Emergency Vehicle Dispatcher Jeff Hammer was promoted to the rank of Dispatch Supervisor and the following employees were promoted to the rank of Lieutenant:
■ Firefighter/Paramedic Christopher Weldon, Station 41 – C Shift
■ Firefighter/Paramedic Arthur “Chip” Brock, Station 41 – A Shift
■ Firefighter/Paramedic Nicholas Fuoco, Station 48 – C Shift
■ Firefighter/Paramedic Trevor Chasteen, Station 48 – B Shift
■ Firefighter/Paramedic Jason Chumley, Station 82 – C Shift
■ Firefighter/Paramedic Casey Baker, Station 48 – C Shift
In addition to the promotions, BCFR Recruit Class 2020-01 was sworn and received their badges following their many weeks of training.
