BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – SpaceX is scheduled to launch a Falcon 9 rocket carrying GPS 3 from Cape Canaveral on Wednesday, Sept. 30.

Launch window opens at 8 p.m. ET.

The rocket will carry the U.S. Air Force’s fourth third-generation navigation satellite for the Global Positioning System.

Following first stage separation, SpaceX will attempt to recover the booster engine on drone ship ‘Of Course, I Still Love You’ stationed in the Atlantic.
