Titusville Teen Arrested for Multiple Crimes Including Aggravated Battery on a Pregnant Woman and Strong Armed Robbery

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville police officers arrested a 16-year-old male in connection with a crime spree that involved multiple businesses throughout the city, including Aggravated Battery on a Pregnant Woman and Strong-Armed Robbery at a Sunoco convenience store.

Titusville police said the teen was charged with Strong Armed Robbery, Aggravated Battery of a Pregnant Woman, four Counts of Burglary, three counts of Grand Theft, Criminal Mischief and Theft.

According to police, the preliminary investigation revealed the suspect physically attacked a female clerk working at the Sunoco convenience store, located at 6058 Sisson Road, and stole money from the register on July 5, 2020.

The second incident happened on October 5, 2020, when the suspect stole a cash register from the Smoke Break, located at 6111 Cheney Highway.

The third incident happened on November 15, 2020, when the suspect burglarized and caused damage to the Dollar Tree located at 6211 Cheney Highway and the previously mentioned Smoke Break.

The fourth incident happened on November 16, 2020, when the suspect burglarized the Save-A-Lot grocery store located at 700 Cheney Highway.

Lastly, on November 19, 2020, the suspect stole a golf cart from the Timber Trace Apartment maintenance shed.

A Titusville police spokesperson said investigative leads and surveillance footage revealed the identity of the suspect who was located by detectives on Thursday, November 19 shortly after the golf cart theft.

The teen was arrested and transported to the Brevard County Juvenile Detention Center.
