Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian Wednesday night along US-1 and Latimar St.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian Wednesday night along US-1 and Latimar St.

According to state troopers, the 25-year-old Mims woman was walking northbound along US-1 when a man in a 1997 Ford pickup truck struck and killed the woman.

The driver of the vehicle is identified as a 65-year-old man from Mims.

The crash happened around 11:40 p.m.
