BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The Palm Bay Pirates wrestling team capped another outstanding season as the state runner-up in the recent FHSAA Class 1A State Tournament.

The Pirates finished second to Summerset Academy in the state tourney.

Senior Tyler Perrow led the Pirates, finishing state runner-up individually in the 120-pound weight class, as did sophomore Ronald Theilacker in the 132-pound class.

“We finished the season second in the state both in the Duals and IBT, and might not have had the most points, but we were the best “team” and are champions in our book, we love you guys and what you accomplished, go Pirates,” said the Pirates wrestling team family and friends on social media.
