BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – The latest weather forecast for Wednesday night’s SpaceX rocket launch shows conditions are 80-percent favorable as a Falcon 9 rocket carrying a Starlink mission is ready to liftoff from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on Wednesday, April 28.

Launch is targeted for 11:44 p.m ET.

The primary weather concern for the launch is liftoff winds.

The mission will launch around 60 satellites for SpaceX’s Starlink broadband network.

Following first-stage separation, SpaceX will attempt to land the booster engine on drone ship ‘Just Read The Instructions’ in the Atlantic ocean.
