BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – At 98 years young, Ann Bush wanted to walk with a purpose. St. Francis Reflections became her purpose as she experienced the compassionate care on our service and she is giving back in her own special way.
Inspired by compassionate clinicians, she is raising awareness and support by walking laps with her walker at her home in Cocoa Beach, Florida until her 99th birthday in October.
We are calling this “Laps of Love.” As a spouse of a Veteran and a former librarian, Ann has a heart for our country, community and service.
Ann plans to walk every day while recording her walk and smile with the support her loving daughter Cornelia.
Ann has chosen to support the Foundation at St. Francis Reflections after experiencing and learning about how we make a difference uplifting lives, our community and each other with compassion and providing programs that support Veterans, children, bereavement, palliative care and patients without the means to pay for care or basic needs.
Join Ann’s journey and her Laps of Love by helping to spread her heartwarming story to make the most of Ann’s remarkable efforts.
