BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is seeking suspect Charles David West in the latest edition of “Fishing for Fugitives,” as Sheriff Wayne Ivey comes to you from Kings Park in Merritt Island.
In this episode, Sheriff Ivey says West is wanted for three warrants.
■Warrant 1: Violation of Probation Reference to Possession with Intent to Sell Fentanyl, Possession of Methamphetamine.
■Warrant 2: Violation of Probation Reference to Possession of Methamphetamine.
■Warrant 3: Violation of Probation Reference to Fleeing or Elude with Lights and Siren High Speeds Reckless.
Sheriff Ivey says Massingill is known to be in the “waters of the Melbourne area” and was last “hooked” on May 17, 2021.
West has no bond.
“If you’re the ‘Catch of the Day,’ you know what to do, turn yourself in and do the right thing – don’t make our Fugitive Unit come to get you. Because if you don’t turn yourself in, I promise you, they aren’t far from your house,” said Sheriff Ivey.
“Let’s make the Space Coast a safer place to live by assisting the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office in the apprehension of wanted fugitives, or in this case, the chance to “Hook ’em and Book ’em.”
