BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – Emily Rose Webb has one wish for Christmas, and that is for the children of AdventHealth Children’s Hospital in Orlando to receive Christmas presents from Santa on Christmas Day.
Emily, a four-year-old, whose father is stationed at Patrick Space Force Base, is a patient at the hospital and is currently battling Ewing’s Sarcoma cancer.
The Webb family has partnered with the Veterans of Foreign Wars “Rocket” Post 4534 in Rockledge to make her wish come true. They will be holding a spaghetti dinner fundraiser on Saturday, November 13, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
According to the “Rocket” Post Commander Dennis Thompson, “we will start serving spaghetti at 3 p.m. and will serve until we run out.” He continued,” If we have to, we will make some more!”

MSGT Ryan Castillo, who was instrumental in pairing the Webb family with the VFW, said this about Emily, she is a “beautiful little girl, super strong and super courageous.”
He went on to describe her as the “bravest individual that I have had the opportunity to meet.”
The VFW Post 4534 is located at 3250 US-1, Rockledge, FL 32955.
