BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – The Cocoa Beach police and support personnel have relocated to their new headquarters at 85 S. Orlando Avenue.

Residents may have seen the communications microwave being installed on the tall, white tower in their secured parking area.

That microwave communicates through line-of-sight with the tower near the country club tennis courts, allowing Cocoa Beach police dispatchers to talk to police and fire personnel and vice versa.

The records and property/evidence staff, who meet and greet the public, are still getting settled so the first and second floor lobbies will remain closed until further notice.

Cocoa Beach police officials request citizens to continue to use the intercom near the new front entrance to request assistance with property, copies of reports or need to meet with an officer.

Citizens can also call 321-868-3251 or email records@cityofcocoabeach.com or police@cityofcocoabeach.com.
